Ok. here I am again: things have been getting stranger - since the last time I wrote, I've won a timeshare, a mediterranean cruise, the lottery (just a tenner, but what the hey!!) and a poetry competition! things are looking up!
the New job is pretty great; nice people and no-one yelling at me down the phone - absolute heaven. I have my first appraisal at the end of this month, so I guess that's when I find out just how well I'm doing.
It's funny, really; all I ever wanted to do is write, yet I only started sending my stuff away a few years ago, and I ever give myself the time to really sit down and work at things properly (too busy earning a living).
Thanks for the responses, by the way.it's nice to know that other people read this sometimes. I just hope no-one's expecting any blinding insights or deep, meaningful revelations....there isn't that much to tell!
